about us

Why start a Foundation?

AI adoption in the accounting and finance is happening faster than the profession’s ability to make sense of it.

At times, it can feel like we aren’t moving quickly enough — but when you compare the maturity of solutions in our space to other industries, we’re actually at least 5 years ahead of many other professions.

The problem is that firms are experimenting in isolation. Leaders are making high-stakes decisions without clear reference points, shared vocabulary, or a reliable way to separate signal from noise.

And much of the public conversation is dominated by product announcements instead of measurable outcomes.

The AI Native Accounting Foundation was created to change that.

We exist to create dialogue, surface real examples, and help the profession learn in the open — together. By sharing practical lessons and outcomes, we aim to accelerate progress, reduce wasted effort, and raise the standard for what “AI-native” actually means in practice.
